The characters weren’t given very much background content and the illustrations made up for the information that was lacking. It not only helped you understand the storyline but also the characteristics of the characters. I really liked the rhyming and rhythm of this book.

Still, it's a fantastic read, and McCurdy's voice alone is worth picking this one up.
